As a native of Massachusetts, Katarina was born to a first-generation Dominican mother and second-generation German father. Her journey led her to pursue her passion at Norwich University, a military college in Vermont. There, she earned her undergraduate degree in Architectural Studies, a minor in Engineering Management, and a Master’s in Architecture.

Currently, she works at a prestigious contemporary architectural firm in Boston, aiming to obtain her architectural license, delve into interior design, and enhance her design skills. Alongside her college friend, Andrea Moreno, Katarina co-founded a female-focused group committed to rewriting the narrative around the capabilities of Latin women.

Outside her professional endeavors, Katarina is a plant lover who actively engages in architectural studies, and artistic pursuits while exploring the diverse cultures and flavors of the world. She is a passionate and imaginative individual devoted to her family, friends, community, and personal development.
