Confidently Public Speaking

On April 27, LTN will host Guest Speaker, Yvonne from ChatswithYvonne for a discussion about confidence whilst public speaking through Instagram Live. Yvonne is a Communications Expert whose forte are all things public speaking. She is the host of Chats with Yvonne, which is a platform aimed at helping more Latinas reconnect with and master the art of public speaking. She also is the host of a podcast called: Cultura & the Ponte Perra Affirmations. Through her work, Yvonne hopes to continue creating opportunities for more Latinas to confidently take the stage. Patricia will also discuss how she left working a 9-5 job and made her own way by simply believing in herself. Through her hard work and dedication, Patricia has managed to successfully advance her microblading business and  has been recognized as one of the best artists worldwide by PhiAcademy- the best and largest microblading academy in the world. She was even given the title of Royal Artist, making her one of three Royal Artists in the State of New Jersey. Recently, she started sharing her skills with others by providing certification classes to aspiring beauty artists in the New Jersey area. Make sure to attend and learn from this aspiring Latina.

Seeking further education after high school.

Sally is a Puerto Riquena based out of Chicago who has years of experience in various professional fields, from education to real estate brokerage. Sally has over a decade experience working in education, having served as an educator and higher education administrator. She is a 2x author for Inspired Latina Vol. 10 and Latinas in Real Estate Vol. 1 and has served on the Casa Central Emerging Leaders Auxiliary Board which focuses on networking young professionals in the Chicago area. Sally has also been recognized for the Latino Student Leadership Award while attending DePaul University and is an alumna of Mujeres de HACE cohort 2020. Amongst all her career advances, she is currently working on launching her online business in 2023 while continuing to volunteer her time to bolster the advancement of our Latino/Hispanic community.
