Marketing + Social Media Director

Position at a Glance:

The Marketing and Social Media Director will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies, maintaining content schedules, and producing engaging content for our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, etc.), with the goal of increasing awareness of Dos Rosas. The perfect candidate will excel in creative marketing, innovative content development, and staying updated on trends.This is an UNPAID, REMOTE opportunity available to the general public, including undergraduate students seeking college credit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop distinctive social media posts and video content to inform the target audience about Dos Rosas’ programs and key updates.

  • Compose clear and informative captions that explain the topics covered in your posts.

  • Utilize social media insights to guide marketing decisions and shape content strategies.

  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, best practices, and social media advancements.

  • Collaborate closely with all Dos Rosas members and external partners to guarantee content accuracy across all platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

  • Must have experience using Canva.

  • Familiarity with the Later Scheduling platform is a plus, though not mandatory.

  • Basic knowledge of insights and analytics relevant to each social media platform.

  • Capable of communicating effectively in writing, tailored to the audience's needs.

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Highly organized and proactive.

  • Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with some flexibility.

  • Available for biweekly virtual meetings with Dos Rosas’ Board of Directors and Marketing Team.
